Cats on Tuesday July 3-07

Rosa and Felicia adore the outdoor life during some short summer months here at 60 degrees north. They then, of course prefere to stay outdoor. Hunting as cats are for. But when the green winter takes overhand and on top of that: Rain, rain and again and again Rain. They close their eyes, more or less, for all the goodies they can hunt.
Here is Felicia - she can observe the weather outside. And prefers to stay inside.
Here you see the raindrops in the pottery. And how much rain we have had since Monday.
This is Rosa's favourite place for the moment.
Anna needed to give her some comfort. Or vica versa?
The only thing that really loves the rain seems to be the Radish.

By the time you read this, I hope the rain stops so your cats can run around and play in the sunshine. They look bored. :-)

They're gorgeous! I had a look at your older posts and see that they eat One. This is my neighbour's cat's favourite too... I may try it on Dixie.

I wish you could send some of your rain to Arizona. It is so hot and so dry here. We are all desperate for the rainy season to start.

You kitties look so happy curled up indoors listening to the rain. And everything must be very green!

Well, we need rain so badly here the farmers are praying and all the lawns are brown. It's going to rain all day tomorrow so I guess my cats will have an indoor day!
Your cats both look like they have eyeliner makeup on!

I didn't know that Felicia uses eyeliner ! It makes her eyes just beautiful, lol ! So you are also sitting in the rain (without singing) I don't even know anymore how a blue sky looks and the word summer disappeared from my vocabulary ! My legs are getting green and my feet transformed into flippers !

It is very rainy here too! Rosa and Felicia, it looks like you have the right idea, staying nice and cozy indoors, out of the rain.

Such sweet pictures TorAa....Especiaklly the "Comforting" one with Anna....And it is true. Sometimes I wonder if Sweetie knows how much he comforts me, while I think I am comforting him...Your cats are very very dear.

Forgive me, my dear...I have not listened to that lovely CD yet---I have a Deadline with the DVD's I must watch...the Voting has to be in by a certain time and they didn' give us very much time at all...especially with a Holiday and no mail, during that time.
But I promise....I will!

And I forgot to say...WE NEED THAT RAIN, desperately...They say this is the dryest year in recorded history, here in Los Angeles. The worst drought ever. We are down a foot of rain for the year. That is a lot of rain. So, I wish we could have a bit of the rains you continue to have...Is this typical of Norway in the summer?

We have the same pottery!

Looks like this climate change thinggy is really global. We had a wild thunderstorm here (West Malaysia) early this morning with raindrops the size of golf balls. Au got caught int he rain and was soaked but clever old Scoop was safely indoors. And this is the dry season!

Love Rosa's tiger stripes.

Once I read "sixty degrees north" I was lost. I am at 45 degrees north: WAY south of you. I am amazed and fascinated by your latitude. Our winters are brutal: blizzards, whiteouts, ice, snow up to HERE, etc.

I will be paying close attention to your blog and your seasons! Thank you!
