High Fly - Hemsedal - Norway - Morning report

I woke up in the early morning this Saturday. Everyone but me was still sleeping. I took some photos. You then can have a tiny impression of the nature around where we are. Enjoy and click on the pictures to have slight more narrow feeling of the freshness here.
It's windy---

Hmmm - cold? Yes -you see the frost..

A closer look - what's inside - water, food or wood?

We are not alone here....

Snow at the Mountain tops

Butt, We have a Sauna - happy feets - it's hot- hurray

This is a tribute to our Captain and mr Lifecruiser. We wish they could be here. And you too, my dear reader.

What a beautiful place, TorAa! lovely morning report :)
I don't need frost for the time being, though.
Your sauna looks like the place to be at when it's cold outside.
Happy weekend :)

Very beautiful scenery indeed, though I could do without the autumn feeling and the frost.... Brrrrr...

One question that popped up n my head when I see the red cottages:

Is they painted with Falu rödfärg (red paint) or is it just ordinary red paint? It would be interesting to know if the Falu rödfärg have spread to Norway too.

A perfect morning for early rising. I hope you and Anna are having a fantastic trip. Frost already? I'm glad you have the sauna to warm your toes. :-)

@Lifeccruiser: I think the colour, or the recipe, is very like the Falu-red. Here we have Röros-red - name after the old mining town Röros.

What a lovely trip to Hemsedal Tor! Its a long time since I been there but as you know its one of the most popular ski areas and resorts senter in Norway so I have been down hills there a lot of times.

From the pics one can also see the fall season is coming. Tomorrow its Equinox you know :-)

Beautiful pictures Tor, really beautiful. I'd love to be there, but the frost! Not yet please! I'm one of those people who would rather wake up to the rain (as we did today - all day!) as long as it's not cold... Anything but cold....

I'm kind of craving some cold weather! I love the feeling of cozying up under the blankets and sleeping in.

We are having some thunder here right now. Big thunderhead clouds outside.

@A: I'm flattered by every single comment here. Cold - yeah - when it's dry it's ok, but combined with high humidity: No - no no-

I think the light when the sun is coming up is beautiful and you've just caught it right, Tor.

What picturesque country it is, too and it looks lovely and peaceful.

As for the sauna, yes please! I hate having cold feet, although it's getting warm now so I don't have to worry.

Take care.

What a wonderful place it seems to be ! I am back from Italy into a "normal" world at least concerning internet connection ! I have never had such a bad connection since I am blogging ! Not even from Egypt or Turkey. From 1 h Internet I could use maybe 45 min at the beginning and then 15 the last 3 days ! It was awful. Now I can even more understand your anger about internet connections ! We arrived at home at 1.30 pm made the trip in two shots of course. Now I have to catch up on all news in blogworld !and the cruise of course ! So I have a lot to read, lol ! Sorry that I couldn't comment, because of this bad connection (but you know what that is !)
