Cats on Tuesday Aug 15-07
Stompa has been on Vacation for more than a month - in the Summerhouse with his 2 cousins - Rosa and Felicia. He is still shy. Comes for food and some coz. Then he walks away again. Even though we have had rain and rain and rain - he mostly stays dry. Cats know where to stay.

You are absolutely right that cats know where to stay. They are amazing creatures. They love comfort but they don't mind living in the wild at all. Mine have places in the woods that I want to discover. They come from this one area when I call them at night. From another area when I call them in the day. Love those cats!
Stompa is the beauty!
Stompa is beautiful - and so clean! When we had an outdoor cat hewas always dishevelled and scruffy, with twigs and leaves in his fur.
Cats are independant and if they use freedom around the house in the garden you can't control them as I can't control my daughters when they are out of home!
J'ai oublié d'écrire en français! La prochaine fois, c'est promis!
bises!
Stompa is a handsome kitty! Perhaps he will warm up to the people in his life soon. D :)
Stompa is a big, beautiful guy. My cats always knew how to stay out of the rain when I had outside ones, too. I think Socks would like the rain if I let her out but she doesn't have any desire to go out, so I let her stay in the house. She used to love to play in the stream of water from the kitchen faucet, but she doesn't do that much any more, or try to get in the shower. She's the only cat I've had who has been interested in water, though. She's very funny!
He is a beautiful cat ! Kim also is always outside rain or not rain and only comes in for food. Since my return I only saw her twice ! But she is there.
That's a great pic of Stompa, the smart guy!
here is my feline pic :)
and look at those paws!
Maybe I should ask him of advice where to stay... the weather doesn't look that promising today... *giggles*
*off to the secret island*
He is a beauty, TorAa...And such a sweet sweet face. I tell you, there is nothing like a cat. Cats are The Best! Give him a hug for me, if he will let you...lol!
I love the name of your cat :-). Briongs back so many wonderful memories from childhood reading and watching TV series.....you are Norwegian so you know what I mean ;-)
Cats know when and where they're loved, Tor!
BTW, where will you be staying when you're in Amsterdam? Even if we only have a few minutes to say HI and give a good hug, we have got to meet!
Cats are resourceful and some even like the rain.....like mine!
Oh yes, cats know where it's dry, warm and safe. Although Oscar used to be out in storms and come home absolutely saturated and then want a cuddle! Yuk, wet cat!
Stompa's a very handsome boy but obviously a reserved cat. I'm sure he's enjoying his cousins' company though.
