Cats on Tuesday October 7 - 2008

Back to the Winter Home. How will Rosa and Felicia take it? Living outside since May 1?

First of all: Happy Birthday to Mar in Barcelona

Our Cats do know in the very moment we think about changes. So this Autumn as well. They knew we would move from the Summerhouse to our common Winterhome last Sunday.

Cat owners are familiar with the challenge to ask Cats to come, when we humans want them to be at hand. Bring them into their cages and transport them. This year it was easy. Our Cats do not like chilly climate.
Besides: The Male Cats. All Castrate "Singers". What a dissapointment . Both Rosa and Felicia were without P-Pills since late April. No kittens.

But they met at least some wonderful humans, bloggerfriends, which they very soon adapted.

Here is some photos from The Summerhome

You might remember Stompa catching a mouse?

And miss desperate (but nowadays - grrrr - not puurr purr

My last Night in the Summer Lining - at least the design. Papa bought it for me - purr purr.

Are we going home? I'm ready and packed, so said Rosa.
And - we are back again. Even with our Cat Sculpture. And our Chaisselonge. That's ours.

More cats here. And here (big surprise). Please also meet Veronito in Buenos Aires. You can comment in English.

PS. Papa has written this in between --- I want bother you - have a great week

I love the photo of the packed Rosa! Cats are so funny, they always love boxes and bags! *giggles*

...and they do have a very lovely winter home. They're spoiled, but in the right way :-)

Oh, and I've congratulated Mar 3 times by now, different ways. *giggles*

At least they cooperated nicely. That's a good thing. Enjoy your return to your winter home. I'll await the tales of your lovely family as the year progresses. Big hug to you and Anna. :)

I am glad the girls are packed up and safely home. Being outside all day long is much less fun when the snow comes along, they can look out the windows of their warm apartment and dream about summers to come!

This is when we could all say of you, Tor, that you are such a "pussy-cat!" :) And that's a term of endearment.

Oh the poor little babies. Having to go back to the city. Ah well, they can hibernate for the winter and then in the spring go back to the summer home, the land where all kitties dream happy kitty dreams!

Welcome back to your winter home ! I think Rosa and Felicia appreciate a cosy winter place now after a mousehunting exciting summer ! (without love affair)
Lisa has to take the "happy" pill because she suffers anxiety during night. She was yowling whole nights through and kept us awake ! it was awful. and then she peed everywhere all carpets were full of pee because I didn't realize immediately. It started to stink in the whole house which my son noticed when he came. So big cleaning, orientel carpets in the basement and Ikea carpets as replacement. With the pill she is happy, eats well and doesn't pee anymore in the house.

Cats sure can sense change and get upset at first but then adapt. Mine hate it when we get out our suitcases and lie IN them and UNDER them in protest!

We are still in the summer bedroom but with windows closed and heater on! We just aren't ready to give up summer..it'll be sunny and 22 this weekend and for our Thanksgiving on Sunday! We did have frost the other night though and our leaves are about 50% changed in colour.
