What's going on with your photo storage? Gee! I mainly use Flickr now and it's actually a fun place to meet people too.
Your photo of the water is really lovely-so sleek, like ice!
I think I know that place - very convincing for a 3*20 celebration :-)
So Google sucks, eh? You might want to try something like Wordpress. Or do what I do and put it in Photobucket then use the img HTML to display in the blog.

Why don't you make a private blog in Anna's name and upload pictures there, as I do with Mr. Gattino's email address. It works perfectly !
