Jubileum - Car crash - Barbecue

It's unbelievable...
We were on the road for 89 minutes, and less than 30 seconds before our destination. When we got hit. Someone bumped into to us. From the back. Smash.
My car - rearThe other cars front

I drove Anna to her 40 years Celebration from graduating. 145 km to the north east of our summerhouse. After our car was hit from back - well, you have do do some insurance reporting - that's why I do have only one photo from the vordrink...

Here you will see some pictures from Kongsvinger Festing (Fortress) where the celebration took place.Anna greats old classmate.

I went down to my best man and his wife. Le chef for the evening.
We had a wonderful meal. And talked and talked into the small houres. You can see for yourself, how the sky looks like even at 1:25 am.

I'll come back with a cybercruise report from Kongsvinger. So stay tuned.

Sorry to hear about the crash :-) Looks like the French car 'won' the battle though!!

What a lovely graduation reunion - belated Happy Anniversary to Anna!

The Fortress is very nice place - an important part of the Norwegian defense against the Swedish in the old days you know:-) I have a real good friend in Kongsvinger and been there a lot of times.

Good to see you really enjoy the lovely summer weather we have in Norway now and the last pics really show the beauty of the land of the midnight sun!

Well at least you guys are just fine and no one is really hurt. The car can just be fixed but it is the person's well being that truly matters.

Lovely pictures btw.

Glad no-one was hurt, Tor. That other guy was obviously travelling too close to you. Your car has come off not too badly, his looks a little worse for wear. Citroens are built to last, though.

Looks like you had a wonderful time for the rest of the weekend, though.

Enjoy your week and I hope the insurance comes to the party for you.

I'm sorry to hear about your car. But the rest of the day looks to be fantastic. Quite a celebration! Your photos are lovely- I especially like the one with the house and the brick road.

Hope your week is off to a good start.

UGH. Those fender-benders are such a pain in the you-know-where. You definitely fared better, Tor, but still it's such a nuisance. Glad you're okay. It could have been much worse.

And how nice that Anna still got to make it to her 40th reunion and you to your best man's!

Besides the fact that you got a big kiss in your car's bottom (but fortunately it doesn't look that bad) it seems you had a wonderful time, the pictures are great !

The damage is a lot for a little bump from behind and I know it probably cost a lot to fix. Will his insurance cover it?

Nice that you had a great time at the reunion! I just went to mine and it was great!
