The month of May ended up with five days of constant rain. And on top of that we had the Green winter ( 8-11 C - Low 40 F). First of June we went to work - dressed like during the Winter. The fiord was all greybrown, from all the clay flooded out from the local river.
Rosa and Felicia stayed inside. I even had to switch on our electrict oil radiators. Felicia stayed at her fav place. Where she can watch out the window and even have some good moments with me.
Saturday June 2, the weather changed radically. To well over 20 C (around 70 F). Here you see the sky at 4:30 am.And we could at last have a summermeal. And boats on the fjord again.Even an outdoor shower. Sun heated water.
We got so excited, we ordered our Silver wedding present - a trip down to Buenos Aires - 2 first weeks of December.Another great news: My son and DIL in SW Michigan have bought their first house of their own. So they will be pretty busy the months to come.
Since the summer arrived on Saturday, we have hardly seen the cats. Out hunting, they are, since they don't eat much. But Peder comes every evening and some mornings. He is very good at cleaning the bowles of Felicia and Rosa. Suddenly Rosa appeared. To inspect Peder from solid rocks.
Anna has only a few weeks left before the summer vacation at school. Besides, there will be several events in the evenings. Busy time, with other words. This weekend Anna will also go to the 40 years since graduation gathering - 100 km (60 miles east of Oslo). The event will take place in an old fortresse. I'm gonna drive her up there. And bring my PC and cross my fingers for a better internet connection. Some of our Fuchsias
My internet connection has been up and down again. It can take frustrating long time to upload pictures. Hope it will be better this evening. Took only 17 minutes to upload the first four of these - puh. Then good to have a book to read in the meantime (Espresso Tales, by Alexandre McCall Smith).More Cats on Tuesday in the sidebar here.
