Ingelin is back in Oslo - luggage ?

A horror story from to day

This is Ingelin at her BD party (11-19) - She felt sooooo old her hair went Grey. And blown up. Party baloon hair? I do not know. I was not there.
But today - on TORsday (of course) - she arrived in Oslo.

1. Ingelin arrived at OSL
2. She waited at OSL for her luggage
3. She still waited
4. No sign of her luggage
5. She asked: Where is my luggage?
6. Answere: WE don't know
7. She took the train "home"
8. She misses her 2 suitcases
9. No cellphone - no PC - in the missed luggage
10. No party costumes, personal cloths, no gifts - nothing only but her clothing suited for Miami
11. She need 11 chairs for her B D party on Saturday - papa fix
12. She needs an additional table for 7 - papa fix
13. Understand? Papa has something to do - but for Ingelin: A pleasure - allways

Have you ever experienced "missing luggage" ? Tell me. OK

OY! What a nightmare! Missing luggage is every travelers WORST Nightmare. I have been very lucky. It has not happened to me. But it has happened to many many people I know...They all finally got their luggage back, but in two cases it took more than five days! I hope that will not be the case with your dear daighter. I hope they find her bags very very soon!
Papa fixes all....LOL! Well, it is her birthday, Papa!

I have experienced lost luggage (but always got it back! the same with other family members) and that's the reason I travel with a small bag only within Europe...

Yes, I have had my bag lost once but for a short time. You see Hubby was an Airline Captain so I always used a carry on for my trips and it went with him.
On our trip to Panama we will check one piece of luggage and carry on the rest.
Ingelin is lovely and you are a good Papa!

Ah, ain't she just glorious beautiful in that "ball gown"? *giggles*

No need for her other clothes when looking like that - there will be plenty of men to warming her ;-)

Oh, yes, we lost our luggage when going to Ohio. Though it worked like a charm - they did drive it out to the house after a day or two.

We learned to always have a "survival kit" in the hand luggage with the most important. Though I don't know how it is now, maybe it's much more tough going in and out of US.

My husband used to lose his luggage from time to time, but it did always eventually turn up, though sometimes weeks later. He always travelled with a small bag with an emergency "one of everything" kit, a survival kit as Captain Lifecruiser says.

But as for Ingelin, well she knows, what else are Dads for? :)
