We have moved -and connected

Hello,
yeah, we did move to day. Not the best, nor the worst weather.

Here we are in our Summer Home. The view is the view. May 2 - 2008

Not Summer. Haha. Not at all. It's a late Spring this year.
But, we must come here to prepare the Garden. Right? And the Cats -they are needed. (Mice - say no more)
.

Here is Rosa running down that Stairs. Too busy to be the Star she used to be in the Winterhome. -Mieuww - It's my land, my freedom. Great?

Felicia? What did she do? Inspecting. Is everything as it used to be or not?

I had to take two drives - You see it's like changing home (and our Car did not have room for all our first needed "stuff"). With all then to consider and bring with you. Foods, clothes (for work, not only leisure), radio, and well, you are moving and need all your normal household as well - see?)
Luckely our Summer Home is only 30 minutes away. That's so practical. And so different. We are lucky to live in a country, Norway, where nature and climate can be very different only some "minutes" away.
Have an excellent weekend.

PS. We will have a visitor this weekend. I do think my kids will like that. It's their Mother.
We are all family.

@: Yes, it's a short way, but the nature is different and we do have a garden here. Almost no trafic. But we have to pay every time we pass through the sub-sea tunnel ($11 - but we have a subscription that gives the price of $7.50) - We can also go around the Oslofjord - double distance and more than that in time and pay $4 each way.

You know here on my lake we live all the year long. In th winter the lake freezes and we have a new world before us. Ice house appear and fishermen cut holes int he ice to get their catch.

Then in the summer, the ice melts and the lake is once again alive! small fishing boats come with their mighty fishermen, and the children play at the beach.

I also have my garden here too. As we could not afford to have two homes, I am so lucky to have two homes in one!

I just know the kitties are very happy to be free once again!!!

Hello to Anna!

I really like this idea of winter and summer home. Here we have cottage life. Meaning folks travel away from the big cities to the lakes region to villas on lakes and beaches. But they don't relocate to those homes for a permanent season. They just visit. I would love to be able to go out in the canoe for an hour after work.....Well....where we live, in the countryside, I could drive 10 minutes to canoe, but it is not the same as the home that spells relaxation....
