Papa experiences a strange Saturday - travel in Norway
Hi, my dear readers.
This Saturday we have had 3 Seaons within 5 hours here in the Summerhouse. Temperatures ranging from 9C – 48F to 22C – 72F.
From Noon to 5 PM: Sunshine, Heavy Rain, Thunder, Sunshine, Rain. Storm and no wind at all.
Rosa prefered to stay inside. The best weatherforecast there is.
Here are some proofs :
Rain and wind
Suddenly changed to blue Water
Moments later: Then Rain again…
Chairs on the Platform
Suddenly: Wet deck reflecting Sunshine
View from the Kitchen. Wet Rocks. 60 feet right up.
What to do but lit up in the Fireplace…
or watching TV – The royal wedding in Sweden…
or looking up and see some sudden blue sky…
… and checking out the Tomatoes and The Hot Peppers.
Felicia is the one of us that handles changing weather the best. She is the Queen of all seasons.
Have a great time all of you.

I'd wanted to see the Royal Wedding, but it wasn't on our TV.
I need some cold weather now though Tor ;) Thanks for sharing all the lovely pictures and yes me gonna miss Oslo for sure.
Is Rosa holding on to her personal handphone?
Such weather swings...Lord. I thought we had big jumps in temps. here, but your day beats them all....! Lovely pictures Tor---such pretty flowers and the two BEAUTIFUL Feline's....! I hope the weather there settles down and finally decides to be Summer...lol!
Exactly like here ! I also watched the wedding on German TV, was great !
This weekend is the reconstitution of the Waterloo battle and it's sad that the weather is so bad. For once journalists from all over the world came and they do a big show, the biggest ever since I live in Waterloo (35 years !) and we have 12 ° today and it rains ! Poor soldiers !
That's Mother Nature, you know :)
I watched the whole wedding as broadcasted by German television, it was wonderful, a fairytale came true, the world needs more of this :)
And it was all paid by our taxes, as Mr M pointed out to me...!
Happy Sunday
Sounds the weather was crazy everywhere this WE!!! The same here! Rain and sun after!!! But our finnnish young people don't mind about this and tasted the Mediterranean Sea alone at the beach !!! The temperature of the sea is too cold for us and we are not used! but sounds they had a good time and took a lot of pleasure swimming in wawes!
As Felicia, our cats don't mind about the weather! I think they even prefer a spring temperature than a summer one!!!
I wish you a fabulous week to you and Anna at summerhouse!
I just LOVE the way you say things, Tor. I would love any day that has all the different weather options like that, all wrapped up in one. As they say, if you don't like the weather, wait a minute. :)
