Texas 2011 – Part 3: Lake Travis in drought

Due to the worst drought ever here in the Texas Hill Country, Lake Travis has changed dramatically. The Waterstand is 54 feet lower than normal.

This happens a lot in California as well. When we visited in September, the lake was not as low as I thought it might be...

IT is sad, but glad you are out documenting it all. :)

How terrible for the people living there – and the animals too. I hope they will get a lot of rain this winter and spring. By the way if you come to my blog you will see a picture of yourself which I just published in my Meeting with Bloggers post.
