From Sunset to Sunrise

Yes, in short, that’s the fact. Moving from our Winterhome to our Summerhome is going from Sunsets from our Balcony to Sunrises from the Summerhouse Platform. Add the Garden, then you have the difference. OK, it takes 30 minutes more to go to work. And add the paradise for Rosa and Felicia (our Cats). Luckily, there is really much to do in the garden. Keeps us occupied. Even the nature itself is a challenge. Steep. Very steep.
Here part of the Garden seen from our platform. Lot's do to there.

On Monday we bought a new Flat-screen TV. No cable. No satellite dish. Only an Antenna. Which will be changed to a Digital late this Fall. The TV canbe used as PC Screen. To view digicam pictures, DVD-players, game consoles… Nice for the Grand Son (Sebastian).

I’m gonna fix the old fashioned antenna. To watch the News. And the weatherforcast.
Still looking for a internet provider. It seems I have to accept an aircable. Grr.
Felicia controls all our doings from the roof.

We have an early Sunrise here. Before 5 am. And a Sunset around 5 pm. Mid Summer it's Sunrise before 4 am and Sunset close to 6 pm. Then the Sun disappears behind the trees and the steep hill to the west.
But the full Moon was beautiful the other Night.

Rosa and Felicia are back in their Paradise. They are so busy they hardly have time to eat. Can you see them among the rocks?
PS. Until the internet-connection is fixed, I will post from now and then from Work. Gives me little time to read your blog and to comment on a regular basis. Can you forgive me?

Beautiful pics of the sunrise and sunset Tor.

Enjoy that flatscreen TV...I'm sure your grandson will.

Good luck with your internet connection...that can be so frustrating, but I'm sure it will all come together for you.

Such beautiful photos, Tor. I am glad you are starting to get settled in the summer house. I have been working some in my garden, enjoying the flowers and such. I cannot imagine a sunrise at 4:00am. Right now our sun rises at around 6:30 am and sets around 9:00 pm, Makes it difficult to go to bed at a reasonable hour! I completely understand about the lack of internet service. Just post when you can and we will enjoy your stories!

I've been having lots lof trouble figuring out how to leave a comment on your posts, Tor. Maybe now I have figured it out?! I hope so.

I can imagine how wonderful this move will be for you once everything is settled. And yes, of course we can forgive you! Do what you need to do and then come back to us. We love you, Man!

Good to know you are well settled in your summer paradise!
Flat screen and no cable, must be like cakes with no toppings LoL
You must be far out in the outback of Norway since you can't find any ISP LMAO
I'll try to forgive you my friend - but please fix it until we come visiting:-)

@Joy Des Jardins: Thanks for nice words. Have ordered a wireless connection today. Will take a couple of weeks to receive the box - then test...
@lisa: Thanks to you. Yes, we are in a way settled in the summerhouse, but pick up something every day from our winterhome.. Yes, it can be hard to go to bed (but I do early, as we are up before 6 am.)We do some working in the Garden, but need a little rest on the platform as soon as we arrive. Talking with the Cats. Making dinner. No stress really.
I'll do my best, to post and comment from work once in a while.
If I'm lucky, I'll have a Wireless connection in about 2 weeks time (hope the signals are strong enough - if not I have to test an outdoor antenna)
@Ginnie: Seems you have figured out how to comment - and that is really nice.
Thanks for forgiving me. And your last words really warm my heart.

@RennyBA. At least we live there. NewsPapers will arrive from Friday morning, and our wireless connection hopefully from 2 weeks from now - Can have 4 users.
The cake will have topping during the Fall, when the new digital network is up and running.

@Lynn: I'll bring more pictures from our summerhouse and the life outdoor.
Cheers to you too!

@Mother of Invention: Thanks for nice comment and excellent photos from your veranda ;)

@Ex-Shammickite: What a kind comment. My ISP, hopefully will give me my wanted wireless (no cables) at all in about 2 weeks.

What beautiful photos of your sky. How nice to have a change of scenery for the seasons. Felicia is obviously very happy there, surveying her kingdom with her paws neatly crossed.

Hasn't the moon been lovely the last few nights? It lights up everything at night it's almost like daylight, but with the colours missing.

Hope you get your internet up and running from home soon, Tor. Of course you're forgiven.

Enjoy your weekend.

Eh . . . Tor? Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe our sunset is a little later than 6 pm come midsummer. Here, the sun doesn't seem to go down at all, but officially it's around 11, and it "officially" comes back a bit before 3 - but then it never really gets dark. ;)

I can still remember when TV means antenna on the roof, how someone is going to be up there turning it for better signal while someone below shouts if the picture is okay.

My kids will never know about that...I'm dated that way. Does Summer in Norway gets really hot, like over 100sF?
