Weekend – friends – Summer

This weekend was in a way dedicated N and A-L. A-L is in fact Anna’s maid of honor. Well there is a long time ago – you my regular reader do know Anna and I are going down to the Silver Country – Argentina in December this year for our Silver Wedding.

Back to reality. They came her Saturday – Sunshine 24 C – shrimps and white wine---

Then Fondue – what a surprise – no barbecue – but fondue.

PS. Planning ahead here at 60 degrees north, without taking the latitude into consideration – that’s #¤””#¤&. This evening we were lucky.

Well it was a very good dinner. Elk was the main ingredient. + + +

Salad, coffee avec - Open fire - a memorable evening.

Sunday morning – well party over. Raining and a temperature drop down to 12 C. You can see the difference.

PS. Tried to upload this Sunday. But in vain. So I brought my PC to our Winterhome for the work to be done.

There's nothing like sharing a meal with OLD friends, Tor. So glad you had nice weather for at least the big meal. :)

It seems like a lovely weekend! except for the strong temperature changes...oh, well.
I have never had elk, maybe I should visit Norway to try new things!

It looks and sounds like a very good time with a lovely feast....And to have such old friends...such a blessing, isn't it?
I noticed an unopened bottle of wine in that last picture with the rain...I'm sure you had some of that with your dinner, yes? (lol)

It must be so frustrating to be struggling with the computer connection all of the time where you are in the Summer....! It would probably drive me to smash the computer! LOL!

What a wonderful post about good friends gathering - and even with great weather luck at 60 degrees north!

I'm so much looking forward to our gathering in Sweden in July. I don't know if we will have Elk (moose you mean?), but we have some craw fish in the freezer!

Thanks for all the nice comments.
To Renny: It was Elk, not Moose. It's rather confusing:
