The Food singer
A New Bird is Born
On our voyage to India, we learned about food and bird singing. It is different recipes for different birds. I tried some food for Northern Cardinal. What could be more likely for a Viking? Just click on the link, and you will hear the result of this special recipe and also my transition to a Cardinal. The recipe from the Tibetan Monks is of course a thousand year old secret. And I have promised not to reveal a single ingredient.
Have a wonderful TORsday

Hm... why are you so red all over your body? Too much time in a sauna? Or has wifey poured hot chocolate all over you on the Valentines day? *lol*
But then I wonder why you're black in your face...?
Hm.... Oh, well, we all have our habits ;-)
Thanks forspreading the word about the cyber cruise - the more the merrier :-)
@Mrs Lifecruiser: Wake up: It's carnival time. Coocoo. LoL
we see those birds in our yard regularly. it's such a welcome sight to see the bright red agaisnt the stark white snow as they are among the few hardy songbirds that don't migrate south for winter.
At first I thought it was the Pope but then I realized it was my good old friend and had a great laugh. Looks like it taste good too!
Hope you've had a lovely TORsdag and now I wish you a wonderful end to your week.
Btw: Good to see you are in the A-Team Cruisers too;-)
mmmm, looks like you're enjoying whatever it is you're eating!
Just like my birds here at home ;-)
Beautiful Bird Song! Really soooo very very pretty! Thanks for that link!
Amongst the few things I miss about living in the U.S., one of them is hearing the cardinal. Sigh . . . :(
Cardinals are a common and very pretty sight here in Arkansas. I love their chipping call, too.
Have a good Freya's Day, Tor. :-)
OMG, I am still laughing !! Not because of your text, but as I clicked on the link and the bird started, my Pookie got crazy, she jumped on the keyboard, put her head in the screen and then turned around my laptop, that I had to stop it. You should have seen her eyes ! A serial killer looks like a father Christmas ! I think I have to do it again, when my camera is near me ! Poor Pookie, your blog is a danger for cats !
and the tip of the top now, as word verification I have kuklux (without klan)
He, he - You fooled me. I thought I was going to her YOU sing like a bird. But after some listening I realised that it acutally was a bird. Or, was it not?
Well, this bird in the photo looks like the rarely seen, "Open-Beaked Toraa Taster" whose habitat is limited to Oslo and is spotted wherever there is plenty of food!
