Tuesday Cats

CATS ON TUESDAY

In most pet shops you will find teeth brushes for Cats. If they don't have, they will offer you Cat Grass. Good for the Teeth and Digestion.

But not all Cats need teeth brushes. They handle the cleaning all by themselves. Take a close look at Rosa. Be aware Cats have different preferations. Rosa, for example, does not accept all kinds of empty Wine Cartons. As you can see, this one was accepted. So far, so good. As the Carton is placed just in front of the TV (she loves spectators), we also must choose the right Channel. Her first priorety is Ballet. She adores the music and the movements. While Rosa does her cleaning, Felicia hide away high up under the Ceiling. She does not bother Rosas ToothBrushing. She waits for another more fascinating TV program: Birds and Wildlife. Join Cats on Tuesday

Tor, I must admire Rosa's oral hygiene! She could work for the cat dentist. And her appreciation for the ballet is very funny.

I hope your week is off to a good start. I have found a few things turning green once again in my yard. A sign that spring may be here soon.

Toothbrush for cats in every shop ? Now I doubt about the place you live ! My cats all included would scratch me to hell if I only tried to open their mouths and poor Lisa has only one tooth left ! But they do like Rosa and not only a carton ! Arthur likes electric cables to play with, but he doesn't bite that hard fortunately. The pictures of Rosa are very funny !! BTW what happpened to the wine ???

Rosa's so good to have such great oral hygeine! I can't get Nermal to brush his teeth in any way, the vet put him under anesthesia to clean his teeth! Good for you Rosa, and good for you Felicia, no one will disturb you up there, smart kitty :) Happy Tuesday!

She eats away at that box... it looks like a large alligator took a big bite out of the side... now, that would clean your teeth.

Indeed, Felicia does have a wonderful vantage point to watch for birds.. is this near a window?

OMG, Tor. The way you decribe the life of your cats is for the books! You need to publish all your cat entries some day. :)

Wow Rosa, that's very impressive! I like to chew boxes, but I've never chewed up a box like that!

My mom says she's seen the toothbrushes for cats in the pet stores around here, but hasn't bought one yet. I don't know if I'd like having my teeth brushed!

I must try and persuade Oscar to use Rosa's method of cleaning his teeth rather than him using my hands and feet!

Cheers!

@Shionge: I'm happy you learned something knew:)) But don't attack cartons yourself for your teeth cleaning.LoL.

@Lisa: I think Rosa will open her own practise, with Anna and me as her cleaning the floor assistents:))
Sounds inspiring to see the first signs of Spring. Here it's raining and the last of the snow washes away. But we never know, suddenly king winter shows his power again, even as late as in April.

@Gattina: Electric cables? Yes, I wonder how many cellphone, photo and PC cables they have destroyed. But allways low-voltages cables. They know what they do;D

@Angelo and Nermal: Thanks for the compliments=^.^= =^,^=.

@srp: The Cats clean their teeths and we clean the floor. Joint effort.LoL.
Felicia jumps up here when she wants peace, with other words, she can't look out windows from here.

@Ginnie: he-he, haven't you seen my cat stories published, on my blog:)))
PS. I'll have a discussion with Rosa and Felicia about Royalties; they are hard negociaters=^,^=

@Dragonheart: Understand you will do the teeth cleaning all by yourself. Ask mom to look for empty doublecoated cartons:)

@Puss-in-Boots: Hands and feets for teeth cleaning must hurt. Try different cartons. Rosa and Felicia prefer the ones that are "double coated"=^.^=

I tried the tooth brush thingy a LONG time ago. The scars have finally faded! It was not a successful venture. We feed them only dry food and the Vet checks their teeth at every visit. Bless had to have his teeth cleaned by the Vet after many years of chewing on string, like floss. He was NOT happy, poor love.

D :)

The vet once gave me a kitty brush for Darius's teeth. He had tartar early. But that went over very badly. I switched him to dry and it seems to have helped alot because he has to crunch. My girl's kitty teeth are perfect still after 6 years but she will only eat dry food and occasional tuna. I will have to check out cat grass for my D's teeth!
Rosa is so funny chewing on that box, I love that picture.

Do they sell cat pipes to smoke their cat grass in?

I really must see a cat tooth brush, that's the best thing I've heard all day :D

A wine box sounds like the perfect thing for such a pretty cat to be in. As for the kitty toothbrush, I've never seen one. I don't know if my cats would tolerate my using such a thing on them! LOL!

the veterinarian would always tell me that i needed to brush my cats' teeth. yeah, YOU come over and try brushing my cats' teeth, i'd tell him--and good luck to you, sir!

they sell little rubber things that fit over the tip of your finger with bristles on them, and flavoured toothpastes for cats (liver, seafood, chicken...)--but i can't imagine any self-respecting cat ever allowing some silly human to put one of those things in their mouths. i'm sure i'd be covered in blood and bite marks in short order! lol

Cats also need to get their teeth cleaned from time to time my vet said. Or else their precious teeth could fall out! Like the others, Anela would fight me tooth and nail were I to try and brush her teeth. I couldn't resist that bad pun. :-)

@FelineFrisky: Happy you are healed. Try cartons;)

@Luna: Happy to hear your cat goes head down. Then they master the climbing

@Mother of Invention: Canadian Cat, I presume:) Ours like also to watch birds and sometimes soccer (that's why I sometimes have to watch soccer)LoL.

@Deana: Cat Grass is also good for the digestion

@Lever: Pip and Grass -hehehe.
You can also use baby toothbrush;)

@Suzanne: Cartons is a great solution - for the cats and us

@Obsidian Kitten: The Vet will sell you remedies, and the Cat says: No, thanks;)

@Kuanyin: That's why we gave them such cartons:)

@RennyBA: You'll soon gonna see, young man:)

@Me and female cats? Ask the Cats.LoL. Serious: Female Cats keep closer to the home, which is highly important when we stay in our Summerhome
