Stompa - where are you?

 We have not seen nor heard from him since last Thursday Afternoon. We have all been looking and called for him. He have never been outside here before.

We know he recalls the sound of our Car. We know he knows our voices.
We have announced we miss him at our local communiy web-site, on Facebook and on Dyrenett.no (Animalnet). 

So far in vain.

Stompa, where are you? We all miss you so much. Family Friend for 10 Years.

Cats without Kittens - Papas short report

We are back to normal. Allmost.

No more Kittens around.

Mother Felicia relaxes. But she are back to her habit of waking us up very early in the Mornings:

Puurr puurrr, mieuwing for Breakfast.

Auntie Rosa some times miss the opportunity to play with the Kittens. But she as well relaxes and waiting for the Spring and moving to the Summer Home.

PS. Both Felicia and Rosa do play like Kittens during the Nights. Oh, yeah, we can hear them. And even feel them in our Bed.  Felicia has even coming back to her habit of licking my armpits.

Her Tongue is rather rude, it hurts, but papa let's her do it.

Kittens and Hurricanes

My regular readers do know we are Cat sitters for two of Felicia's kittens born on July 17 this year.

Mieooow , we are Sister and brother. Visting our mom and aunty during the two-legs season.
See how sweet and inocent we are?

Sister, listen: We need to have some fun. Right?

Hi, brother, jump up and let's play on this large, green plain.

We will have Family Gathering tomorrow, but wit the Hurricane Twins, we need to plan otherwise. Serve the Meal in the Kitchen and devide our appartement  in order to let the "Hurricane" siblings have their freedom. They are after all young Cats. 


And there is more to think about, not only regarding humans, but also Cats

And you might also remember Felicia got new Kittens on Dec1?
Here you see the only Black and White, while to two twins are playing in the background.
You also observe the litter Box to the right? Oh, yeah, they know where it is and how to use it.

They are very beautiful and very Manx and their body shape and mind.

First evening in a Human Bed. What does it smell. Food around? Let's find out.

Hmm, who is the real Manx here? Except for the Tailless, they all have a Manx's body shape.

And Rosa is observing her Sister kittens. She behaves very well, and even play the the Hurricane Twins.

Kittens on Tuesday

My regular readers may have observed we have been busy the past weeks and not very active as bloggers.

Below you will see one of the reasons.
Before the photos:
Felicia had new kittens on December 1. 
Three have survived. Here you see them the first Day they walked. 19 Days old.

Besides, we are Cat sitters for Felicia's twins, both born July 17, this year..
They will return to their new human parents firts week next year.
They are both great and very healthy Cats and loves humans (after a while).

She is the Female, named "Kviten" - "the White" due to her nose. She really adores us. But her Mother are not that satisfied. Predators life.

Cats on Tuesday September 16 - 2008 - What we worrie? Anna 3x20? 3 days left?

Our Cats have been observing papa's stress lately. And Anna's too. Job? Mienoo.
Then they realized it's not only because of the fact Stompa left on Sunday. He is now back in is own hunting fields and winter home.

They asked: Miuaahha Anna miew miew miew mienty? Miave myou minavated mius? Mionooo? Miatt miew miow miorry
Here are two more guests: (Don't tell Rosa and Felicia)

Who are they? Secret? No it's Tone and Walter. Looking southwards Oslofjord.

Here you see Walter. He is an Art Photographer. Several separate exhibitions in Photo Galleries around Europe. This is one of the few Photos of him. Every photographer knows about that.

hm, let me think, ask Rosa and Felicia and Calculate.
17 + 2 = Meowneteen ( 19 if you would have it up front - or nitten as the Vikings said)

Will there be more Guests to come?
Don't worry. Papa believes he has allmost everything under control.
--- shit - where did I put the Guest list (not to speak about who will stay in which room?)
- will there be any crises?. Will Papa be capable to reconstruct the Guest list? And the Room List?

Anna has left me with her best Woman

When you see how it can be right out of our Windows at Mid Summer.
I do understand - It's about time to leave.
She left for Hong Kong. From Oslo via Moscow. Whith A-L.

Tonight it will be a Tyfoon - grade 8 in Hong Kong. Ingelin sent me a MSM.
She live in a very safe place - at Hollywood - in Hong Kong.

We did wake up at 5:30 am. And left our Winterhome just after 6 am.
I drove the two ladies to the Airport.

Entered around 7 am. Here they are outside

Here they are - waiting for check in - and then after: Security Control.
A disaster. Normally and deseant people are treated like terrorists. What does it tell?
I know, but when internet has come to a stage, someone read your mails, I say nothing but. IT'S OUT OF HUMAN RIGHTS CONTROL.
Check in took only what you expect. But - security control - in the most busy Vacation time - wow - I was back in my my winterhome (60 km away - 90 minutes) long before they did pass. I had a feeling it would take that long.

Got a call from Moscow. They are safe. So far.

Then I got the MSM from Ingelin in Hong Kong: Tyfoon. OMG.

Here, back in the Summerhouse:

Felicia has figured out she will hate her sister Rosa. I need to be very clear and strong about that. She even want to restrict my blogging. Zimbawve - I said. The she run away.
So, my dear readers, I still have unexpected challenges.

Then I needed some music - Brahms and Bach. The latter is my fav, when I need comfort. Like during Rubens funural: Air. As a starter for the ceremony. Here U Z - we have a Radio and Cassette and CD player.

PS. Wednesday - well - then I need to get rid of my son Rubens belongings - which can not be used by anyone else. I'm still in sorrow.

Last Saturday Rosa and Felicia did wash each other. The ancient Norwegian word for Saturday is Laugardag, meaning Washing Day. Our Cats, of course, do know that. (Had nothing to do with Springtime and the fact Sundays is Half-a-Pill Day)

And here, Felicia. What is she mieewing for? Her sister Rosa? A Male? Could it be me? LOL.


Five things you should know about Cats
1 Cat's sense of smell is 14 times stronger than a human's!

2 Besides their noses, cats can smell with something called the"Jacobson's
organ",located in the upper surface of their mouths. This is what cats are using when they scrunch up their eyes and open their mouths after sniffing something intently!

3 Cats have 244 bones in their bodies! (About 40 more than humans!)

4 Cats have 32 muscles in each ear!

5 Cats only sweat from the pads of their paws; ever noticed how wet the examination room table gets when you take your cat to the vet?

End of Winter Vacation - for the Cats

During our stay with Renny and Diane, Rosa and Felicia had their vacation as well. They did visit Stompa for one week, and fed and pleased by Solvi. They like it there. So well we hardly find them when I come to bring them back. Even Stompa hides away. What a struggle. No chance to even take a photo. And when back in the Winterhome, they are all over in such a hurry I do have the same challenge: Take photos.
But I did manage to take these two: (Click to enlarge)

Rosa sat down on the kitchen table for 3 seconds - to have a snap shot - then she ran away again. Too busy - something new?

Felicia under the dining room table - also 3 seconds - then she were all over again. Hunting High and Low. It's impressive how fast they move.

Cats on Tuesdays at Gattinas

Cats on Tuesday - Oct 30 - 2007

Felicia and Rosa held a low profile during the Halloween party last Saturday. They did not think it was that fun. The only thing they found acceptable was the red, fresh meat.

On Sunday, when their humans and guests seemed to behave normal again - the come out from their hiding places - even though Sunday is pill-day.

Felicia thought she should comfort Renny. He must have been scared last night, she figured out. Or was it opposite? Renny is, by the way, one of the few "strangers" Felicia accept.

Rosa found a more hidden place - and closed her eyes due to all the mess around. But had to look at the Photographer.

Then, at 5 pm they come into the kitchen - looked at the wall clock and then at us. No pollock - it's 6 pm. Oh, yes, We are back to normal sun time again.

Gattina will be on Vacation until mid November in the meantime Meanwhile Meeyaux (aka Andrée) is so kind to take Cats on Tuesday over to her blog

A change of life Cats on Tuesday Oct 16

CATS ON TUESDAY

Mieew - Autumn -Fall - lot's of mices - temptations for Cats... (phhuuu)

We left from what you see below -in cadges . Miooooow . Our 2 legs: Did they observe all all our fresh meat down there. Mices and Snakes and grande insects. Miaaahaha , they brought some ill-smelling sprays - uukucch - can't be good for nature - (we have teached them to use organic) By the Way: We like the view. See:

I did have a wonderful outdoorlife for 5 months + 1 week this year.. My 2-legs were away from time to time. In the meantime: Good, wellknown friends and family of our 2-legs parents allways taken good care of - you know
.My mother lived here for many years. I miss her. She was killed by a car. I will never go down to the main road --- again.

Felicia: Thanks for a new year with a great experience as a free to do predadator. I know most humans do think I'm to perfect to be adored. I'm not "sweet" enough".
Then "Felicia and Rosa" said: Who is this male? Peder Fur, he is, so said I
Hehe - the view from our Winterhome when we moved back early October. Some weeks before it was worse. But's that's for the better - we hope

Felicia is very strickt about changes. She knows it, before I even start to schedule weeks the exact day and time. That is the thruth.

Felicia allways come back every night only a human head away from where you where born. That day - when you were born, papa was accidently really sick and had to stay ïn bed. (for my regular readers and blogger friends . Yeah - and she (Felicia) -she so "marks"this fact --- miieeew - puuuhhrr)

Miawwh. I mieih no more . Questwue celakø mieqa dn NOOON. (Cats can express in a way I admire.
Reality - coming back from Summerhouse- this is only PART of what we had stored after moving -hahaha- what was - .

EPILOG

Rosa and Felicia are born at the same day . The last day of October 2003. Under my head (and bed -on the floor)n. That Monday I had a flue a strong, that hindered me to walk 15 minutes to my Office. Their Mother Sali, got 6 kittens.We kept 2. Rosa, which birth I did observed - and the 4 next to come as well. Then I fell asleep. Anna, when arriving from work in the late afternoon, told me there were one more. That Cat, Felicica, has thereafter been a special friend for me. Mutual.
