Cats on Tuesday June 19-07

Rosa and Felicia have a wonderful outdoor life these days - except when it rains. Then they stay indoor.

Felicia loves to stay on the Roofs. Then she has full control with what's going on on her terrain. Click to enlarge - and you'll see her. (Yes, we have work to do here during the Summer)

When we arrive from work, sometimes Rosa comes down the Path to meet us. While Felicia often lay inside by the Window. If she is not by the Window - well, then she most often is on the roof. She jumps from the rock to the left here. I would like to see a human doing the same.

I still have not been fast enough to capture her with my camera when she jumps up on the roof. She is incredible rapid. And me ditto slow.LOL.

Rosa loves to curl around on the Platform. She want Pollock.

They have started their hunting season - and occasionly they bring us the result. They do that to feed us - since we feed them all winter long. That's only fair. Sometimes we have to tell them they must kill the mouse before bringing it into the house. Then they wake up and do what cats are for: (at least a Manx) Kill mice. As they did for the old Egyptian and on ships in the earlier days. And for Farmers to day. At least some Farmers. And everybody else.

Cats always have to be up high so they can survey their territory! Mine go up on our garage roof and my neighbour's. They go on their deck and if the door is a wee bit open, they go in and visit them in their bedroom to get them up in the morning! Ours are mostly in at night, just to be safe from other animals and cats.

The higher the better ! Arthur too things he is a flying cat. I also checked if your laundry was (Dash) white enough ! They surely enjoy the summer time, must be boring to be locked in the whole winter, just as it is for us ! Rosie got her first slap in the face from Lisa, because she wanted to eat with her in the same bowl ! that of course is a crime.

You are both very brave! You are also great hunters. I've never seen a real mouse or other prey-type animal - only my catnip toys.

Your summer house looks lovely, and your cats seem so content! I really like the picture of Felicia on the roof!

Isn't it funny how they like to be up high? Mine are all indoor cats so they have to get on the kitchen cabinets to act like wild kitties. Great pictures!

Cats love us so much that they bring us these gifts, or at least mine did when they were allowed outside. It's nice that yours can go out, but mine get neurotic and want to hide from me when they're outside, and there have been coyotes in the area, one of which got my dear little Chester last year. We all must stay in as a result, and I get no more bird or mouse gifts.

@Mother of Invention: Thanks for sharing the story about your cats and the neighbours. Great. We have foxes around here, but the most dangerous for Cats are people driving cars.

@Gattina: Laundry - he -he - They are hanging there to whiten and signalize Peace;)

@Dragonheart: Ask your mom to buy a dozen White Mice to play with;)) Meaw.

@lime: She is the Queen of the Castle Roof

@Mom Unplugged: Yeah, cats are born to climb or sneak among bushes.

@Dorothy: Yes, we are happy we do not neeed go hunting - LOL

@Suzanne R: It's a pity with the Coyote around. We have Foxes, but they never have managed to capture our Manx Cats. In fact, I have seen several film clips of Manx' attacking Foxes: They jump agains the Fox in a bow and attatcks the fox in their eyes and throut

@DK & The Fluffies: Don't wish, make an indoor roof - LOL

@DK & The Fluffies: Outdoors only during the Summer. Besides, if they feel threatend, they have their own secret entrance - from the roof - what else;))
