NARROW
We happend to suddenly be on this narrow road. Here it is, well, a sort of driveable. But later on, I did not dare to stop and take pictures (Enlarge and try to imagine what would come) Anna closed her eyes. It was steep on both sides. Rocks and water on the road, a huge mud-lake down under - point of no return. With a tiny, 2 wheel drive Car. No Cell Phone contact. Mad Vikings. But beautiful Nature I'm told. Had my eyes on the Path. Yes Path or Trial. Passing the Sand Dunes 1 hrs later was even more risky.

I'm wondering, you had a cell phone but no service? Or no cell phone. I was thinking there would be no service whether you had one or not (like the whole top portion of Vermont). But that was an adventure! More photos of that road coming up?
Oooh, I don't blame Anna for keeping her eyes closed...I would too.
I'm glad you drove carefully (you must have or we wouldn't have had the post and photo).
A similar road I can think of is the way to folgefonna. I could not breath all the way up!
Got to be extra careful when you drive along this I bet....
I would keep my eyes closed too! I know how she felt,
We drove up a mountain the other day by accident and at one point the car, which has a tiny engine almost rolled backward was very very scary! luckily E managed to keep it going and I tried not to tell him about the gorge we would have dropped into, Next time we are using 4 wheel drive
That is definitely scary! and rough! Thanks for dropping by my site...
I can't imagine what it would be like driving on a road that narrow. I have driven across some very narrow, one-lane bridges when I was younger but nothing like that now.
I hope you'll visit my PhotoHunt entry on my blog at:

Anything for the love of nature, yes? :)
Fabulous, scarey photo!
Ah, how I recognize this kind of situation! It's exciting isn't it? You know that you're alive. When surviving it.... *giggles*
now that's what i'd call road trip fun :)
Great!! I remember when we were on a road like this in Mexico. My husband was amazed and kept stopping to take photographs. For me it brought me back to my childhood in Africa so I was delighted with it :)
That is one scary road, Tor.....I think I would be closing my eyes, too! (lol) And the Big Worry----What if a CAR is coming from the other way??? Help!
