Stompa catches his own Food
Stompa has been eating less than normal lately. We wondered whether he was sick or not. But, no, he was not at all slimmer than useal. He sure have eaten somewhere else, we then thought.
Then one late evening Anna caught him. He ran on to the Platform. Something in his mouth.
There, on the Platform, with his Catch. A mouse.
Stompa does not like beeing watched when having a meal, so he looked slightly away.
OK, Stompa, we have the proof, even if you try too look innocent.
(Next morning nothing was left of his catch)
It's hard to be a Cat. Have to hunt for their own meals. They can't go shopping like most of us.

Bravo ! (poor mouse) Stompa the hunter ! my cats don't eat the mice but they go to the neighbors to eat there (especially Arthur who becomes fatter and fatter, without our help !) So you have a fur like Arthur now and before it was like Pookie ??
Stompa is a real Viking cat :) Ingelin
Fine cat. But minewould kill the mouse after paying with it for a long time and leave him to die. They wont eat it
just imagine if cats sis go grocery shopping...scanning the paper for coupons, pushing their little carts, trading recipes...
Aiks... maybe the mice the are cleaner and most nutritious than the mice over here. They eat wheat whereas ours here take rubbish.. Haha! Anyway, if I ever see one in their mouth, it would be taken away and they have to have to take a bath immediately. In the end, they rather stay free from mice than to take a bath.. :P

Stompa is a good mouser too, and that's important. He's just doing what comes natural.
Have a great day. Big hugs to you and Anna. :)
Wow, great picture of the good hunter Stompa.
I never dare to show those pictures but it is the nature. Our cats always left a piece for me...sometimes the half mouse...really the half, mostly the back with the little tail eeeeee
I can understand if they hunt for food but our cats also love it to play with the poor mousies.
I knew Stompa could do it - a real mousing cat :-)
I miss my little big Stompa. Soon I am coming to bring you home again.Sølvi
Ingelin is right. He is a Viking King Cat! Bravo Stompa!
I don't know about catching mice. I hate it when the cats bring them inside still alive and let them go! Of course, it's meant to be a present...but one I didn't appreciate, thank you very much!
Instinct is hard to beat. I remember when I used to have a little hunter as well. Once he brought us a snake, unfortunately it was only playing dead!! At least you won't have a problem with mice.
Stompa eres un gran cazador de ratones! Aca mis gatos quieren tambien!
You tickle me to death, Tor! :)
