Papa went to his Doctor with a Cold and ended up in an Ambulance
Wednesday Papa went to his Doctor - to get rid of his Cold. After nearly 2 weeks he was very fed up with fever and his "Niagara" Nose.
One thing is Fever, papa told doc, but there is also some strong strokes, from time to time in the chest. Besides it's like the chest is laying down in Nettle - it Burns.
EKG - Bloodsamples.
EKG: Might have been a light heart attack.
hmmm - more Bloodsamples. Bloodpressure. Repeating.
Talking. New strange strokes.
New EKG. Not possible to inteprete the results. Papa pale as new Snow.
Ambulance were called for.
Papa was on his way to the Hospital. In an Ambulance for the first time in his life.
Papa at the Observation Post. Photo taken by Ingelin.
Lot's of support from Family, Work and Friends. Thanks for thinking about papa.
Tests of all kinds for 50 hours. EKG, Blood, Bloodpressure, x-rays, urin, ultrasound, Gastroscopy(thats terrible), then "on the bike", testing loung capasicty. Still fever and hurt and burning chest. Arms have been picked with needles all over plus local anestesies and antiglycerin. wow. Sleeping, sleeping and sleeping. Wednesday - Torsday - Friday
Friday afternoon:
Heart: 100% perfect.
Lounges: 100 % perfect.
Cancer: NO
Gastro: Not perfect - Could that be the reason for the abnormals?
Sorrow (from Ruben's death)?
Well, this was papa's bed at the observation post. He left. Ingelin drove him back to Anna.
More test results to come next week. The good thing is: Papa can relaxe in more joyable surroundings than a Hospital. Next medical excamination will be on Wednesday, Sept. 3.
Have me excused for not beeing very active in the blogspehere until I know a little more.
Have a wonderful weekend.

Auuuuu Tor, sounds very dramatic from the start, so I'm glad the doctors was so serious about it and thanks for giving us the result - that calmed me down.
Thanks also for calling me my friend: it was good to hear your voice!
Get well and have a relaxing weekend at your summer house.
I hope he feels better really soon
Get rest and I hope that you feel better. I am happy that the results are good.
Man, do I know all those rests first hand! Well, at least your heart is okay and you passed the stress test on the bike! You just may have a delayed stress-grief reaction...I hope it's not serious. It is scary isn't it?
Rest...don't go to work for awhile.
oh tor that is rather scary. i am glad to hear they believe your heart health is good. hoping the rest is all sorted out soon and you are back to your happy, healthy self.
Oh my dear Tor! I had been worried very much about you, but was called in to be with my daughter as she was rushed to the hospital and operated on! I was such a wreck! She is doing well and will recover. I am sending many hugs and get well wishes!
@To all of you:
First of all thank you for your comments.
It's been a hard time - you know for us here since the death of Ruben on May 18.
It seems - (hard to say this: but) it looks like my stress after that event has caused my stress -
I'm lucky to have had all medical care, checks and professionalls to talk with the past Days.
And, this is not to be underestimated, all kind words, feelings and blessings from my wonderful bloggerfriends.
Something underestimated -so far - my professional "Grief-pro's" - they are not aware, so far - what bloggers can do for each others.
Love you all and thanks
Thanks for the call,to not scare the h*ll out of us! I'm so very happy to hear that you at least had good test results. Well, yes stress can cause very many strange symptoms, so it can be.
Please, relax, don't go to work too early after this! We want you to hang in there and have FUN for many years to come!
I'm not sure if you have it over in Norway, but I've built up my resistance to sickness very much by drinking Mivitotal Flex every day. I always got ill before and with my nose flooding like Niagara all the time.
More than 100 vitamines and minerals, Q10, alfalfa, psyllium and bioflavonoider. It contains all what we need to build up our strength and resistance to sickness.

You'll find it at any Swedish health store, like "Life", but I suspect that you might have it in Norway too.
Oh my dearest Tor - how worried I have been to not find you on blog or twitter - thank goodness all heart and lung tests were normal. I know exactly - in the first year of my grief journey, I thought I was having a heart attack and they sent me to hospital (drove myself) and had all the tests including treadmill. Everything normal - except for the stress and anxiety that was grief-induced.
Oh how happy I am that you are returned to Anna, the cats and your summer house. Please, please, please rest and be gentle with yourself. We all love you and need to have you around for a long time.
Hugs across the miles between and golden healing light beaming across oceans and mountains.
My dear Tor, I am very worried about you. Please rest and take good care of yourself. You are a very dear friend to me.
((Hugs))
OMG Tor ! that is terrible to read ! fortunately it ended good I was already surprised not to see a single post of yours. Take it easy now and take good care of yourself I am sure with the good care you will get from Anna and Ingelin you will jump around again soon !
I am so glad you can post about this incident with your amusing style of writing!
Take care of yourself, Tor, sending get well wishes and a bear hug.
Tor... listen to Anna, listen to Suzann, listen to your doctors, rest, do not go back to work for a while, rest, rest amd more rest, stroke the cats.... I hear relaxing with your dear pets is a great way to relieve stress. And grief. And sorrow.
And I am thinking of you and Anna and Mats and Ingelin and Solveig too... it's a stressful time for you all. Be careful, be calm, be accepting, and keep blogging, you know all of us in blogland are thinking about you.
Hugs from me here on a sunny day in Ontario, Canada!
.... and I have to say, those are very snazzy hospital pyjamas!
I pray to God you are okay, Tor! God have mercy on you and keep you with us for a looooong time! We need you.
I was on Mrs Lifecruiser blog whe I red your comment about your hositalisation. I see you did all the exams and nice to see all things are ok. And now you have to take care and have quiet time. body reacts when life is so hard. And now have a cool time with Anna. Stop the busy life to take the time so your body can find again all the energy!
Good grief. I go on a long holiday weekend and you decide to go to the hospital. I'm glad all is well. Big hug. :)
Tor! Comence a leer con gran preocupacion, pero por suerte todo ha salido bien! Por favor, cuidate mucho, no trabajes mucho, quedate en compañia de Anna.
Un beso grande
