Shiny

I advice you to enlarge - to see the little boy kicking the water and better view of the girls mirroring.
What a challenge: Shiny. Think about it. I'm sure you would have at least 15 different choices of what it means for you. Therefore you have to visit all other "shiny" Photo Hunters this week. This picture is shiny for many reasons. You need not to mention more than two of them. If you can't - you can say: Well - it's a typical Kodak or you can say I like the dogs or I like .... the shiny reflexions, the shiny ... come on.. say it
PS. See that woman in red? She refused to move away! Can you believe it. I had to deal with her the whole evening. Even the morning after. She must be a real Wannabe;D - Scary.LOL:

After all, I care for you. You Too;)

The pic is shiny because of the dogs, and the little girl who is playing with them. Thanks for stopping by. Have a nice weekend.

I like the shininess of the water....it looks like smooth glass over on the upper right there....!
Well, I'm glad I gave you a good laugh with that sign, TorAa....I thought it was funny and it would lighten the feeling of the post. I certainly didn't think it would obscure what the post was about! (LOL)

@tegdirb92: Thanks for an inspirering comment

@Gattina: I know what you would have loved to see here: Playing Cats. Instead I placed this person in red in the front;))

@Tina I stopped by you 'cause of your excellent PH entry

@OldOldLady Of The Hills: Wednesday, yeah? Next year, we are crossing the pond. LA - SF and Chicago and MI. 4 Sure. Or we can have a Tango on the streets of Buenos Aires in December or a Pisco Sour in Santiago de Chile? What a dream...

I love all your posts and your comments as well.
Hugs from all of us here in the tiny Summerhouses

There are some very shiny things throughout the picture that caught my eye but what made me laugh was knowing that if it were me standing in the forefront of the picture dressed in red, the only thing you would be able to see is this sun reflecting off of my pale white legs causing a super-shiny gleam!

@Zsolt: Me too. She did run up and down for a long time. I also like the movement of the little boy... The water in Seaside, OR, is to cold for normal people to have a swim.

@Mousey: It was a pleasent surprise, as we went out there (Seaside) from Portland, OR, with showers

@ipanema: It's as clean as the NW Pasific can be (Seaside, OR)

@Jenn in Holland: Kinda like a Nordzee strand ---

@Dragonheart: Can you believe it? Dogs having fun?

@Maribeth: Thank you - I'll tell the dogs next time we are there. LOL.

@lime: Yes, you are so right - and we were there at the very moment;)

@Drew: I do think you know what it takes to "hit" - TG we are not dependent on filmrolls anylonger (unless staged photos)

@Ginabee: I can only bow my head and say the same to you

@Barbara H.: I agree with you - and I even love the woman in red.LOL.

@Whirlwind: It's a wonderful place at the Oregon Coast - Seaside.

Lot of shining going on in this picture (not sure why but typing that made me think of Dick Holleran, the cook, from the Stephen King's book The Shining) The water behind the girl looks like glass, and the sky I imagine shined so much it dazzled. Lots of motion going on while others are standing still. You captured this beautifully.

You should have started singing "Lady in Red" to her, that may have done the trick...or maybe not.

But it's a great photo of all the shiny reflections in the water. It's amazing, when given a word, what different things people come up with.

Hello to my good friend Tor. I can see that the lovely lady in red follows you everywhere on your many travels. ;-)

I hope you and Anna had a wonderful weekend. We had much needed rain all weekend and I was not feeling well so it was a quiet and restful 2 days for us here.

What a beautiful capture of a seaside scene you have here. The colors are glorious.
