Papa brushed his Teeth and got wet on his Feet

What was going on?

Well Papa did brush his teeth, in front of the Mirror, above the washstand and suddenly get wet on his feet.
To be honest. papa did not understand why (admit after thinking: It happened in India 14 years ago).
Servant - and so what
Papa bowed down his still young (66) body and what did he observe?
Rusten skrue
A rusty screw.
Rust -can it be true
So what? That screw did keep the rest of the plumbing at place.
It is really something missing
This is what it looked like under the Wash stand. See the missing link?
Handcarechiefs need to be dried
Result? Alle wet, in the closet under the washstand. And papa with wet feet. Sorry, papa’s wet feet are not available for views;-)
Missing Link
This happenend Friday late evening.
No Plumbers available until Monday.
Details
Papa will fix.  Monday to come first in the morning.
Luckely we have another Restroom....

All my trusted blog friends - have a great and problemfree rest of this weekend,

Cats attacking Papas Dinner

My dear readers know Cats are predators. Even a House Cat. And Manx are very clever hunters. But sometimes, well..  Let’s see…
Lilli and Mother attacking our Dinner
Here is Felicia with daughter Lilli at our dinner table. They attacked the Halibut we had for dinner this TORsday.
Next time I’ll command the Cats to stand still when I take a Photo.
At least, we blew off the Candle lights to safe their Tails. LOL.

Lilli eating papas dinner
Here you see Lilli eating from my plate.  She loves Halibut. Very expencive kitten;-).
She is convinced she will live with us. Who knows.  At least she is very intelligent. And loves humans and her Mother and Aunt Rosa. Keeps us all active. Nothing untouched 24/24.

More to come…

A Kitten report

Prolog:
Papa is about to change his Internet Service Provider.
Which should have been taken place from Jan 1st.
But due to technical challenges, it will be postponed at least until Feb 1st.
In the meantime, papa is using his “mobile” internet connection, which is not very fast.

Then the News:
Lilli, the 2 months old Kitten got a severe fever here on Thursday.
(Photo at bottom of story)
She did not eat, nor drink. She was allmost “dead”.Slept on my body for hours without a move. She was hot as an Iron.
I checked the Phone # and opening time for our Vet.
Her Mother was as well desperate – miewoooow .

During the Night I found Lilli at the Rest Room, heating cables on the Floor you know.
She was shivering.

What to do?
Leave her here or bring her into papa’s bed?
Or leave her to her Mother Felicia?
Or her Aunt Rosa?

Anna, my wife, you know, as well had a serious Cold, so she slept in another Room but me….
Friday morning Lilli seemed to be a bit better, so I went to work.
(in fact a very good day at work).

When returning home Friday afternoon, it seems Lilli was more or less half recovered, until she once again wanted to lay on papa. She was again hot as an Iron.Really warm she was.

So I thought, Saturday morning: The Vet.
We will see....
Lilli
Here you see Lilli. Papa thinks she is a beautiful Manx Cat.

More to come….

ps. due to my present internet connection, blogging etc will be at a very low level, but it was important to tell about Lilli.

Papa vanished from the Surface – in Istanbul

Why has papa vanished from the Surface?DSC_0725
Papa was encouraged to meet the two Medusas.
Underground in Istanbul. By Anna and Ingelin and Zeynep.

Were they fed up with papa? Would they have some minutes to do what women likes to do?
What did happened?

Has his women left him over to take care of himself in the deep darkness?

Or? Or?

And it’s from the ancient time – what can
we meet here? At the end..

Underground as it is – ancient Byzants – Miklagard. What was this underground Cistern used for? For what purpose?

Papa has to do what Papa has to do - vacation

Both Anna and Solvi have Vacation, but papa did work this morning and even this evening. In the meantime, he had to do what a man have to do these days:
Beeing women's Chauffeur. They wanted to go to Sweden.Shopping of course. It’s not that far from the Summer House – let’s say around 75 minutes. Each way. Plus 2 hours Shopping.
Papa went hungry, so he bought a baguette ++.
When the women in question discovered that fact, what do you think happened?
We agreed upon to find a nice place to have an open air luncheon.
10-15 minutes off the Motorway. Idyllic?
Here you see them - Open Air Lunch.
Mind you: A dangerous place - Sea cabel just beside. Woman and warning Signs?
Papa is just a driver...
Can you see the Fish?
Don't worry, papa could not see them either;-)
Papa went for a short walk, and enjoyed this house and garden
Is it a Summer House? Or do people live here year around?
The Ladies are enjoyoing their Shrimp Salad. Papa suspects it was some sweets in the plastic bag. Who knows. After all. the both of them were very pleased;-)
PS. When back in our Summer House 9 out of 10 sweet pastries were missing. Mysterious. LOL.
Saturday we are going to Istanbul. Hope my PC will work from there. For short reports.
Have a great time everybody.
PS 2: Will you join me at Paradise Beach, to learn how the History of Northern Europe Change around 1808?

Papa and Anna and two Cats have moved to Summer Home

View from Platform
At last we have moved to our Summer Home, at least 3 weeks later than normal. One reason is the cold Spring, but the main reason is the missing of Stompa. Old fashioned boards has been posted in the Neigbourhood, on relevant Intersites and in the Local Paper.
Stompa
No response so far, where are you?
Felicia in the Nature
Well, now we had no choice, we had to move. Felicia (above)  and Rosa have told us very clearly. And we also realized the Summer Garden need treatment and the Platform and houses as well.
Stemorsblomster og tagetes Cherry Tomatoes, chili and different flowers
Flowers and Platform Flowers covering th barbecue
My regular readers do know Papa is crazy about Flowers. Hence he was quick to bring up food, beverages, linen etc, even his PC and wireless modem before driving to his favourite Green House.

Nye blomster hengt opp 1 Flowers at platform 2010-05-22
Papa returned after spending Nok 1227,- USD 200,-. € 150,-.
And he even met his Childhood Friend and his Woman in the Green House.
But how is the Garden after a long Winter with heavy Snowfalls?
Persille - Parsley - Petrosilenium crispum og Hvitløk - garlic - Allium sativum Løpestikke - Lovage - Levisticum officinalis
Gressløk - Chives - Allium schoenoprasum Salvie - Sage - Salvia officinalis
We did check the Herbs. Scroll over the Photos if you do not know their names. After all they have all survived the Winter up here at 60 degrees North.
Grapes are late this year Wild Strawberries
Lily of the valley Viola
There were much more to inspect. The Grapes are late this year. The Wild Strawberries seems to be as normal. Lilly of the Valley is later than normal, as well with the Violas.
What about the Garden and Berries?
Lions Dent Needs rehabilitation
Tulip - alone Snow has given us work to do
Well, we realize there will be a lot of work to do.  That’s why we move to our Summer House. To to anything else than our regular  jobs. Here you see Lions Dent, a lonley Tulip (the Deers love them and when we are not there…) The houses needs new painting and the Berries needs to be cared for. And the Platform must be cleaned.  After all, we have plenty of time to fix what’s needed with pleasure.  As long as we have Water and Electricity (Fridge, Freezeer, Shower, WC, Washing Machine and a Cooker besides good beds., flowers and Cats and fresh air and  a wonderful view
I really hope my Internet-connection will be stable during our Summer Months. It’s important for me to read your posts and also to comment. In some weeks time I will have more time to comment than I have had the chance to do the past Months.
For those of my readers that know what Pentecost is, have a happy Holyday.
