ABC #5 - E

New week - new ABC challenge:
The original ABC challenge derived from Denise Nesbitt from Yorkshire in England and Petunia brought the challenge to Norway; but since my Blog is written in a kind of English, I've given me a doubble challeng: The objects must begin with the same letter or sound in both Norwegian and English. How about that?

This weeks letter is E.

And I have to find something that begins with E, both in English and Norwegian.
Who came first? The Hen or the Egg?
You got it.

An Egg (English) and also Egg in Norwegian. And Eier in German.
Those of you that claims you can't a single word in Norwegian: Accept you can;)).

Eggs and Easter do have a long tradition in Norway.
Even as Gifts with secret content. Hooow exiiiiitiiing. (Sorry, not allowed until April 12 to reveal the content - you stay tuned? More letters to come, you know)

If you do not want to waist your time, you are very well welcomed to oversee your chance to learn more about Eggs and Easter traditions related to egg.
In Norwegain here about påskeegg.
In English about Easter Egg traditions

If you really want to know or find out the origin of the letter E, click here

The origin may be from somewhere beginning with the letter "E". Who knows, Do you?
More about E here
Håper jeg har tid til å besøke alle norske deltakere og med det også kommentere. Som norsk, eller svensk eller dansk, kan du kommentere på det sprog du selv foretrekker. Tysk, fransk, spansk etc er helt i orden
