I could not help it, but this Photo was taken on a TORsdag some years ago in Mariestad. And this TORsdag (Thursday) Renny one more year in a row celebrates his Birthday.
 
Anna brings a Toast for all you have done and meant for us.

He has meant so much to me and Anna, both professionally and personally and as blogger, so what to sing but:

Blogger Meeting - first meeting

My dear readers do know Anna and Papa went for a long drive at the European Highways the past weeks (6400 km - 4000 Miles). Besides meeting Family and old friends, the goal was the blogger-meeting in Southern France.

Diane CA has Birthday - Friday January 23

It's all about true friendship.
Like my friend Hakon wrote, until now his only blogpost: What is a friend?
I did nor realize until a year ago

This post is dedicated Diane.
First time Anna and papa first time met Diane together was rather special.
We were invited to visit RenneyBA and Diane's wonderful leisurehome in Mariestad. Some 6 hours driving into Sweden from Oslo, Norway.
Papa had met Diane before. During professional arrangements where Renny was one of my Speakers. But Anna and Diane had never met before.
We picked up Renny and Diane at at local Train station. Better to use one Car than 2. See the point?
Diane and Anna start talking at once and so they continued the whole 6 hrs trip and the rest of the weekend.

See, they shopped together.
OK, they both slept a bit during the return to Oslo.

We learned to know a very special, wise and giving person that weekend some years ago.

This Friday is her Birthday.
The photos that follows are just a few from our quality time together.

We have had lot's of fun together, even challenged our Skills. Anna seems to be concentrated.

Yes, I'm alive. Written som personal e-mails/Twitters/Facebook. Been "half"-chatting with my youngest Son in MI. It's going positive for his MILF. Her treatment has been tough. Lost her hair, but she seems to cope and overcome. God Bless her.

At least, the Family is agreed upon a Family Graveyard. Rubens name will appear under his garndpa's (my father's) name. That happend to Day. And the Date for the Urn Interment. Oct 22. And we will make a very special stone for him, among the Flowers befor the Stone.

5) Here is Trygve's Wife. Anna did know her long before Trygve met his wife and I met Anna. Norway is a small Country - when talking about how rare we are.

6) Here is their daughter, Beate. We are Facebook friends. Her BD? Same weekend as Anna.

7) Some secrets guests. Warning: Don't give Anna a clue? (She must Dance with the both of them) - If not for Dinner. Who knows?

8-10) Missing: Not shy, but - not dressed properly. Or, is it as simply as this: Kiss me and I'll be your Prince. Papa must take care. Those Birds, you know, have allready whispered secrets songs - - - I think their names are beginning with: A-K, I and T.


Still miss someone? Hmm, papa must think. Maybe till Friday. But that's the limit, Deadline. Who could have missed in our guest pre presentation? Somebody important? Someone, you my dear might know - some bloggers perhaps?

August 31 - 2008 - Two years of blogging

I am happy -and Beauty

My dear reader,

I'm so grateful to be a part of the wonder of the blogoshere. You know how we can meet across borders, time zones, ages, genders, interests and cultures. It's a fabulous tool for meeting and communicating. I wish that within 2010 all people on our Planet could have access to the WWW as you, my dear reader. At least by public PC Internet facilities.
You have learned to know me and my family and our pets and friends. In good times and in grief. The last 2 years.

What you all have meant to me by comments and private e-mails after my son Rubens sudden death can not be valuated with money and thanks alone. You gave me and my family strenght. To continue both life, work and relationships. You, me dear reader have helped me to think positive.

You know, I'm just back from the Hospital. I'm declared free from serious illnesses.

But, my thoughts now are with my Son and Daughter in Laws Mother in Michigan: She is seriously ill. Cancer - in a stage -¤#-%"- I say no more. God bless Gail. Let her live for many more years to come. She is a unique and wondeful, cultural giving person. She gave us all an unforgettable wedding for Mats and Lory in early August 2006.. (before I did start blogging). Not to forget all the concerts by South Michigan Symphony Orchestra which she gave me a free entrance to.

It would be very unpolite of me to here and now declare that some of you are more important for me than others during my 2 years as blogger.
But let me say this:
Renny was the one that not only once but repeately encourage me into this wonderful world.
I've met, beside Renny, two of you in person, flesh and blood: Mrs Lifecruiser and Suzann. And not to forget Diane - a wondeful person both of us learned to know the first second we first time met. And we have met many times and had much fun and good quality times together, also with her sons.
I've called and talked to The old Lady of the Hills (Naomi).
Gattina brought me into the world of Cat lovers. And with a very special sense of humor.
And - the one - that has invited us for a meeting next year in southern France, has inspired me to write and read French again ( I did visit France every year from 1964-1993)
And Lisa, who invited me for a lunch this August in Indianapolis area. I was so close, but had no chance when staying with my Son and DIL.
And all my friends in Canada, Asia and all over Europe, even in South America and Africa, not to forget Australia. And my family around the world.

I've written and got personal e-mails from so many of you my dear blogger friends, I'm flattered. And a bit ashamed - could be better to follow up. I'll do my best, when we are back in our Winterhome. In 5-6 weeks time.

Love you all. You have given me a new dimension.

Anna's Summer memories with Renny and Diane in Mariestad

Dedicated Renny and Diane - from Anna

This is Anna. I want to thank for a memorable stay at your nice place in Mariestad. Wednesday we enjoyed a very delicious dinner ,maritime style. Thursday we went to Gøta canal at Lyrestad. We visited a museum there over which I was very impressed. We had lunch with apple cake and coffee. The weather improved at Friday and we went to the beach. We canoed and could even have a swim in Vaenern; a little bit cold, but quite refreshing! Afterwords I and Diane went to town for a little shopping. I was allowed to make the potatoes for dinner. They must have been good for we ate them all. Today, Saturday, we went to the beach again – another one. The weather was not so good as yesterday. But it did not rain! I am granted the responsibility for the potatoes to day as well, and I will try to do my best. I very much enjoy my stay here! It really is a beautiful place. Dianne, Renny, Justin and Kyle are very hospitable people and Tor and I are having a wonderful time here. The food has been excellent every day, and the evening activities have been very enjoyable.

I recommend this site (Renny's of course)
