Papa: Days of joy, grief and celebration

I do not know the best way of telling a story of a lost life and at the same time about a new life soon to appear.
A life has gone. A new is to come.
Grief and happiness.
Saturday to Monday.
From Joy to remebering with Grief.

It's about my son who died on May 18 one year ago.
It's about my daughter that expects her first child second half of October this year.
It's about my daughters new Family that never get the chance to meet her oldest brother.
And a child that will never meet an uncle.
A person that devoted his life to help the poor. And at the same time the most talented footballplayer when 14.
A person that knew at the same time the most wealthy, cultural and those forgotten.

My daughters man and father of their child to come, did visit the Family grave. Cultural understanding and Respect - and also love.

We where there on Monday, May 18, on year excatly after my son's sudden death.

I will now bring you some joy and happiness.

ABC #11 - K

New week - new ABC challenge: The letter K
(kommenter gjerne på norsk, svensk eller dansk)
Since my Blog is written in a kind of English, I've given me a double challenge: The objects must begin with the same letter or sound in both Norwegian and English.
How about that? Do you take the challenge?

Click on the links. Something to learn. Just take your time.
This week there will some surprises.
Click on "K"'s and you'll see. Happy klikk/Click hunt.

This weeks letter is K. It is several words in English and Norwegian beginning with the same sound - like Cat and Katt, meaning the same. While this sound in Norwegian is written with K, most often the same objective/acting in English is written with the letter C. But there are some that both in English (rare) and Norwegian (more often) that we have in common beginning with K.

Lets start with something simple.

Kilo - kilo

It's a Kilo - OK? (Well it was)

Since about 35 years we can harvest and use local wheat for bread - instead of importing)

Some facts about the letter K: (If your First Name begins with a K - ( Karen, Kathrine, is a female name used both in English talking countries and also in Nordic Languages)
“K” is the eleventh letter of the alphabet and represents extremes. Never in the center, they go from one end of the spectrum to the other.

Very forceful, these people get their point across with their energetic interpretations. Their strong wills lead them on to greater goals. They expect others to see things their way because they know their way is right. Read More....

OK - over to ABC - K in words and pictures (this week all photos are taken by me)
Lets start with a K that express passion:

Kiss - Kyss
Kisses or kyss in Norwegian, and in other cultures, normally imply strong feelings.

Here is papa kissing his Sons Urne.

And here papa and Anna kissing after 25 years of Marriage - The kiss was captured by Ingelin in Uruguay;))
Kilometer - kilometer

(1 Kilometer 1000 meters - convert here from km to miles)
These destinations seems to be reach in a short time. Only some Kilometers away.
But, those of you who know the Road conditions here at the Puna in NW Argentina, do know better.
Kilo means
Here is about the origin of the letter K
You might take your time to read after our National Day, May 17. Hurray.
We will be at Karl Johans gate in Oslo. Close to the Royal Castle. (Reporting later)

King - konge

If you play cards - kort - then you know the value of the King(s)
Knee - kne

Yeah, so simple - only one "e" differs from English to Norwegian - in written
Kitchen - kjökken

Here we are preparing Christmas Cakes - kaker (same C and K sound)
something different;
Knife - kniv or Knifes - kniver

Used as meant for Knives are very useful - say no more
Kaya - Kaya

The final K is for Kaya and his family. Kaya is in fact an unusual name in Norway. Written like this: Kaja or Kaia it's a female prename. Right now he is in Norway, with his woman, who happens to be Ingelin. They expect their first child around October 20. Now releaved for the WWW.
